Youredjian Child and Family Center in Armavir (Armenia)

The Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) invited the practice of Alberto Campo Baeza to take part in a competition to build a school in Armavir, very close to Mount Ararat. Having won the bid, the firm was assigned the task of designing a nursery at the entrance to the educational campus. With a sober, simple, economical architecture, the single-level preschool presents a square floor plan organized by equidistant pillars of exposed concrete. White walls and glass surfaces delimit the 250-square-meter construction.
